Here is an article from the North Elmham paper from April 2021 with a fascinating history.
My understanding (which may be incorrect if my memory fails me) is that the chapel closed when a crucial family moved away from the area. Subsequently the pews were I believe sold to Foulsham Baptists.
Various attempts to get planning permission to alter the use to a house failed because of the proximity to a busy main road. Subsequently ownership of the land became an issue and whether ground rent had been paid to Sennowe Park over the years.
A stalemate appears to have been reached years ago when ownership passed/reverted to Sennowe Park and the chapel subsequently was abandoned and forgotten by all concerned.
