Ashill

Ashill Methodist Church is in the     
 Wymondham,Attleborough and Watton     
 circuit,Watton section,with 1 minister
 to 6 churches.The Sunday service is at
 11am except on Anniversary & Harvest  
 Sundays when there are 2.             
 There are around 30 members and a     
 Church council. The 92 year old Church
 brickwork is sound but restoration is 
 being done to woodwork. Water is being
 laid on and a toilet is being         
 installed,Work being carried out by   
 Management Services, unemployed       
 youngsters on training schemes. The   
 material costs paid for by the church 
 of well over £2000.                   
 Social events include Flower Festival,
 Gad-a-bouts, Coffee Evenings come     
 Fete's and Visiting Choirs. The Womans
 Fellowship meets every other Monday,  
 Membership around 30,speakers from all
 over the circuit.
